Thank you for saving me from reading this book! I hate potted histories, and this sounds like the worst kind of - polemical as well as careless. :-(

Thank you! It's not even potted history, it's a random assortment of facts put into a book. And very odd that she begins by basically saying - I'm going to make mistakes, can't help it.

You are what a reviewer should be, meticulous in your claims, well researched, nuanced and balanced, and most important of all refuse to self censor yourself when attacked and bullied. I have nothing but the deepest respect for what you are doing. If I had any surplus money I would subscribe now. But that’s on my list for future. Self publishing Erase Her:A Survivor’s Story ate up any surplus despite how timely it is despite being published in 2023 with suggestion for combatting exactly what is going on now with TCF blitz against the GLBTQAI+2 communities and largely ignored by Lambda when I submitted it. The trouble with being ahead of the curve. Now I am trying to pitch vol. 2 The Other Side Of The Rainbow. Finding an agent with the courage to take me on will be a stretch despite excellent reviews for Erase Her.

I just ordered a copy of 'Erase Her' - you're right, it's a very important topic.

I'm so sorry you were assaulted and also the way your friends were unsupportive. On another note, interesting review!
